1. This petition under Article-226 of the Constitution of India has been filed, with the following prayers :
"(A) Your Lordships will be pleased to admit this petition;
(B) Your Lordships will be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order and/or direction, directing the Respondent No.2 i.e. Collector, Rajkot to expeditiously reply/answer to the Representation of the Petitioner dated 18.7.2011;
(C) Pending admission, hearing and final disposal of the present petition Your Lordships will be pleased to pass order directing the Respondents to maintain status quo qua the way/path passing from the Government/Panchayat land to reach the agricultural land of the Petitioner bearing Survey No.488 & 489 situated at Village: Umrali, Tal: Jetpur, Dist : Rajkot;
(D) Your Lordships will be pleased to grant such other and further relief/s, as are deemed just, fit, proper & necessary in the interest of justice."

The grievance of the petitioner is that pursuant to withdrawal of the earlier petition filed by him vide order dated 07.07.2011 passed in Special Civil Application No.8469/2011, the petitioner made a representation to the Collector on 18.07.2011 regarding his grievances, which has not been decided, till date.
3. Mr.Dipak Sindhi, learned advocate for the petitioner limits the prayers made in the petition to seeking a direction to respondent No.2 (Collector, Rajkot) to decide the said representation, in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the following order :
The Collector, Rajkot (Respondent No.2) may consider and decide the representation dated 18.07.2011 of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
It is clarified that while passing this order, the Court has not entered into the merits of the case.
The petition is disposed of, in the above terms.
Direct service of this order is permitted.
