The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the FMB sketch in S.F.Nos.10 & 12 in Karumapuram Village, Valappady Taluk, Salem District applying Government Standing Order No.385 Revenue (Public-3) Department, dated 17.08.2004 as per the petitioners' representations dated 27.12.2004, 29.08.2012, 17.09.2012 and reminder dated 09.06.2017 within a stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the various representations given by the petitioners, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representations and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 27.12.2004, 29.08.2012, 17.09.2012 and reminder dated 09.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
