The Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to permit/set up TASMAC shop at No.7, Arul Nagar, Thanthai Periyar Street, Aviyanthangal, Thirumani Post, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2016.
2. When the matter is called, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TASMAC would contend that there is no proposal to open a TASMAC shop near the house of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives in the Writ Petition.
3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
