Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel.
The claim made by the petitioners in the present writ petition is regarding quashing the order dated 29.5.1992, Annexures-6 & 7 to the writ petition. The petitioners allege to be appointed on the basis of the permission granted by the Director, Local Bodies on the request made by the Mukhya Lekha Paryavekshak. But subsequently, it was found that the appointments of the petitioners were not in accordance with law and it was without following the proper procedure. Therefore, by the impugned order, Annexures 6 & 7, their appointments have been cancelled. The petitioners filed a writ petition before this Court and obtained an interim order. The petitioners submit that on the basis of the interim order of this Court, the petitioners are working and as such they are entitled for consideration for regularization.
After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and after perusal of the record, this writ petition is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on merit. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of finally directing respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularization strictly in accordance with law and strictly in consonance with the constitutional bench judgment of the Apex Court and a reasoned order be passed within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
No order is passed as to costs.
