Heard.
Petitioner’s grievance is that the private complaint filed by her, which is referred to respondent No.3 police station for investigation, has been registered as Crime No.85 of 2014 on 11.05.2014, but no investigation is taken up in the matter.
Learned Government Pleader, who has received instructions, submits, on that basis, that after the registration of the crime the investigation is taken up by the Sub-Inspector of Police, who has recorded the statement of the complainant as well as three other witnesses; that only examination of some more witnesses and collection of relevant records is pending; that basing on the evidence, necessary action will be taken against the accused persons; and that the said investigation will be completed in an impartial and sincere manner, within a period of two months.
Since the investigation is already under progress, as disclosed from the instructions, referred to above, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.
Hence, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
