JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) MONDAY, THE TWENTY SECOND DAY OF SEPTEMBER TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.25073 of 2014 BETWEEN P.Bhagyalakshmi AND ... PETITIONER The Government of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Secretariat Buildings, Hyderabad and others ...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has sought for grant of pattadar passbooks and title deeds for various extents of land by making a representation, dated 30.07.2014, to the Tahsildar. It appears that on the said representation, the Tahsildar endorsed to the Revenue Inspector/Village Revenue Officer to verify the records and put up. Petitioner also states that she has applied for survey by making an application online on 23.07.2014 and paid the requisite fee and that application also is stated to be pending. Alleging inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, respondent No.4, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that respondent No.4 has received petitioner’s application for survey, referred to above, as well as the representation for grant of pattadar passbooks. It is also stated that respondent No.4 considered both the said applications, in accordance with law, and take appropriate decision expeditiously. So far the petitioner’s representation for grant of pattadar passbooks is concerned, it is stated that the same is not in accordance with Rule 6A read with Rules 18 and 19 of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and if petitioner makes an appropriate application in the statutory proforma, her request for survey along with the said application would be considered by respondent No.4.
4. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to make appropriate application in Form 6A by approaching the Tahsildar and thereupon he shall consider the petitioner’s request for survey as well as grant of pattadar passbooks, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders preferably within three months from the date of filing of the application. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
