No.21352 of 2014 aggrieved by the order dt.5.8.2014 passed therein by the learned single Judge. By the said order, the writ petition was disposed of taking note of the fact that the appeal preferred by the petitioner was pending before the District Collector, Guntur District, and directing the said authority to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The petitioner, being dissatisfied with the said order, preferred this appeal contending that the matter be decided on merits by this Court.
It is pertinent to note that the grievance putforth by the petitioner in the writ petition was with regard to the alleged inaction on the part of the District Collector, Guntur District, in passing orders in the appeal. As the learned single Judge has fixed a time frame for disposal of the appeal, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled and we are not inclined to enter into merits of the appeal pending before the District Collector, Guntur District.
The writ appeal is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
