Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has come up in this writ petition against the order dated 06.06.2018 passed by the Divisional Forest Officer directing for the confiscation of the motorcycle of the petitioner.
The aforesaid order of confiscation is appealable under Section 59 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927.
In view above alternative remedy of appeal available to the petitioner, we do not deem it necessary to exercise our discretionary jurisdiction in the matter.
The Writ Petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
