Petitioner is aggrieved by an order of the Board of Revenue, U.P. Lucknow dated 27.2.2018, whereby 801 Lekhpals have been promoted to the post of Revenue Inspector and they have been directed to join at the indicated places. Though the petitioner is aggrieved by such order but none of the selected persons have been impleaded as a party.
In view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in Prabodh Verma And Others, Vs. State Of Uttar Pradesh And Others [1984 (4) SCC 251], such a petition is not maintainable. Moreover, petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the U.P. Public Service Tribunal. Leaving it open for the petitioner to approach the tribunal in respect of his grievance, this petition is consigned to records.
