JUDGMENT / ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 25.08.2017 against the named persons in the complaint.
2. The complaint has been lodged before the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption by one S.Gopalakrishnan, the petitioner herein on 21.05.2016, alleging procurement of wealth disproportionate to known sources of income by a public servant namely Velusamy, Joint Transport Commissioner. The complaint which was received by the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, has been forwarded to the Secretary, Vigilance Commission, Secretariat, Chennai – 600 009 vide letter dated 13.06.2016.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken so far, on the complaint given by him.
4. Mr.R.Sekar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner herein has lodged a complaint due to some personal animosity and the same has been exposed at the penultimate paragraph of his complaint dated 21.05.2016.
5. Whether the complainant is a man of credibility is not the point for consideration, but whether the complaint is worth for investigation has to be looked into. Therefore, it is suffice to direct the second respondent to look into the complaint forwarded to them in case if any criminality is made out, appropriate action shall be taken in http://www.judis.nic.inaccordance with law as expeditiously as possible and the results of the enquiry shall be communicated to the petitioner herein.
6. With the above observations, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
