JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, a resident of Mattathoor Grama Panchayat, has filed this writ petition complaining that a representation Ext.P6 submitted by him has not been considered by the 1st respondent, till date. According to the petitioner, the Panchayat requires to be bifurcated and has therefore sought the said relief in his representation. The learned Government Pleader appears for respondents 1 and 2. Since Ext.P6 is pending consideration of the 1st respondent, it is for the said authority to consider the same and to pass appropriate orders thereon. It is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of with such a direction. In the nature of the relief that I propose to grant, I do not consider it necessary to issue notice to the 3rd respondent.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P6 representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
