The petitioner complains of delay in considering Ext.P1 application for temporary permit in the vacant timings of a stage carriage. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that a report was called for from the Joint RTO, Kottarakkara and that orders would be passed immediately on receipt of the same. He assures Ext.P1 would be considered and disposed of within a period of two weeks. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application and to pass appropriate orders in the matter as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of two weeks and to issue the permit, if there is no impediment against such issue.
