Called in revised. None appeared to press the writ petition. In the circumstances, we ourselves have perused the record.
By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought following relief:
"(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to correct the revenue records and further not to interfere with the peacefully possession of the petitioners over the land declared surplus under the Act by the Competent Authority by an order dated 19.03.1982 which is (Annexure No. 1).
(ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondents to delete the name of the State Government from the revenue records and substitute the name of the petitioners for grant of benefit of Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999."
Having gone through the entire writ petition, we do not find any ground entitling the petitioner for grant of any of above reliefs. No interference, therefore, is called for.
Dismissed.
