… Petitioner …Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to quash the demand note dated 15.07.2016 vide Annexure-A and direct the respondents to consider the representations dated 26.03.2016 vide Annexure-F, Annexure-G and representation dated 02.04.2016 vide Annexure-L and etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri.Sanath Kumar.A, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Taking into account the order which this Court proposes to pass, it is not necessary to issue notice to the respondents.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks quashment of the Demand Note dated 15.07.2016 at Annexure – A and a writ of mandamus directing respondents to consider the representations dated 26.03.2016 i.e., Annexure-F, Annexure – G and 02.04.2016 at Annexure-L.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioner within fixed time limit.
4. In view of the submission made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
