JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondent herein to receive and consider the petitioner's Joint application dated 01.11.2017 with prescribed form and prescribed fee for transfer of the Autorickshaw permit bearing Registration No.TN-24-J-5325 in favour of the petitioner herein forthwith.
4. According to the petitioner, he applied for transfer of permit with respect to the autorickshaw bearing Registration No.TN-24-J-5325 on 01.11.2015 along with prescribed fee to the respondent and the same is yet to be received.
5. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for herein, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to receive and consider the joint application of the petitioner dated 01.11.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
