JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner being the employee of the third respondent has approached respondents 1 and 2, seeking benefit of coverage of E.S.I. Act with a particular reference to the medical treatment.
2. Learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that needful would be done provided the petitioner furnishes the particulars of salary along with the required necessary documents and appear before the second respondent. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner has to undergo medical examination with respect to the injuries suffered by him.
3. It is for respondents 1 and 2 to do the needful. There is not even a communication to this effect till now. Therefore, respondents 1 and 2 are hereby directed to send a communication to the petitioner, requiring him to produce the documents they seek apart from the medical examination, if any, to be undertaken. This has to be done within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner will have to make due compliance within a period of four weeks thereafter. Respondents 1 and 2 are directed to take a final decision within a period of four weeks thereafter.
4.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
