JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Learned advocate for the petitioner has submitted that the application for obtaining appointment on compassionate ground has remained undecided despite petitioner fulfilling all the requirements and supplementing the documents. The counsel has drawn attention of this Court to the representation dated 03/10/2012 and submitted that this representation addressed to various authorities, have also remained unheeded. Learned AGP on advance copy has no objection if direction is issued. Hence, in view of this, the Court is inclined to issue following directions.
(i) The concerned authority responsible for taking decision on the application shall decide the application of the petitioner within the period of 21 days from the date of the receipt of the order and communicate the decision thereof to the petitioner.
(ii) The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court, in case if the decision is adverse.
2. The petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
