Counsel for the petitioner states that his client is ready to pay the total liability accrued against him till today in pursuance to the order dated 28.03.2017 passed by the Assistant Collector (Finance and Revenue), District Ghaziabad. However, counsel for the petitioner prays for some time to pay the aforesaid amount and that till payment of amount, no recovery proceedings may be instituted against the petitioner.
In the interest of justice, it is directed that no coercive measure shall be taken against the petitioner for a period of six months in case, he pays the total amount due against him till the date of full payment along with interest thereof within a period of six months from today. In case the petitioner fails to pay the amount due against him, the respondents shall be at liberty to proceed, in accordance with law, for recovery of the said amount.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
