Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
By the impugned order dated 5.5.2018, the petitioner has been suspended.
I do not find any good reason to interfere with the impugned order. However, the inquiry proceeding against the petitioner needs to be concluded by the concerned respondent within a time bound period in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I direct the concerned respondent to conclude the inquiry proceeding against the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
