In view of reference made under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, the compensation awarded was enhanced through a decree dated 31.3.1995 in Reference Case No. 37 of 1995. The petitioner claims to have filed Execution Case No. 24 of 1997, which is pending before the District Judge, Bulandshahr.
It is surprising that the said execution case is still pending.
Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer only to the extent that the said execution case may be decided expeditiously.
The petition is disposed of with the direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid execution case within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this is presented before the court concerned, provided, of course, there is no other legal impediment in the same, inasmuch as, no interim order is operating against the disposal of the said case.
