JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has filed seeking the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondents to enforce a 'queue system' among the lorries at “Madathikadavu” come under the 1st respondent, to ensure equitable distribution of loads among the lorry drivers as per their turn and also to prevent any steps by the intruders to disturb the queue system.
ii. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondent to take appropriate action against the queue breakers and intruders who attempt to take the law into their hands.
2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, as per the interim order in W.P.(C) No.11519 of 2009 issued on 27.5.2009, a “Queue System” is being followed among the lorries that are engaged in transporting river sand from Madathikadavu. The said system is being followed from the year 2009 onwards and is working properly. According to the counsel therefore, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of, directing the said system to be followed.

3. Adv.G.P.Shinod, appears for the Panchayat. He assures that the 'Queue System' would be followed.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing that the “Queue System” be followed at the Madathikadavu among the lorries that are engaged in transporting of river sand as ordered by this Court in the writ petition referred to above.
