THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks for a writ of mandamus against the respondents to provide suitable police protection as may be necessary to the petitioner and prevent any untoward incident around the petitioner’s premises or near the petitioner’s client’s premises by preventing Mr.Srinivas C from camping in from of the gate and further prevent him from indulging in violence, attempting suicide and preventing free ingress and egress from in and out of the premises by other staff of the petitioner.
2. On perusal of records, I deem it appropriate to disposed of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner that in case a representation is made by him to the competent authority with regard to his grievance within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order passed today, the same shall be dealt with by the competent authority in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such representation. Ordered accordingly.
3. Ad-interim order granted on 24.04.2018 shall continue till the representation to be filed by the petitioner is decided.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
