The petitioners claim that their Complaint Case No. 02 of 2018 (Smt. Geeta Srivastava and another Vs. Smt. Kirti Srivastava) under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 is pending before the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar and they have prayed that the same be decided expeditiously.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar may proceed to decide the case in accordance with law without unnecessary delay.
