Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the Court of learned Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar to decide the application dated 26.10.2019 moved under section 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 read with Rules 2006 moved by the applicant in Complaint Case No. 19763 of 2019 (Smt. Geeta Sahu Vs. Ravi Sahu and others) Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2019. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the trial.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2019, I hereby direct the learned Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the proceedings of the case expeditiously if possible within six months without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
