Grievance of the petitioner is that despite application for issuance of caste certificate filed before the competent authority and application dated 1.4.2021 submitted before the District Magistrate, Mirzapur, caste certificate is not being issued to the petitioner who want to contest the village panchayat election and the schedule for filing nomination is from 13.4.2021 to 15.4.2021.
It has been stated in the writ petition that the petitioner has submitted an online application no. 211990030049790 dated 27.3.2021 which is still pending before the competent authority.
Considering the grievance of the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed off directing the respondents to decide the caste certificate application of the petitioner in accordance with law within 24 hours of the submission of a self attested computer generated copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed off.
