JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had conducted chit and one Latha had swindled the substantial part of the amount, due to the subscribers. The said Latha gave a cheque for certain sum and according to the petitiioner, the cheque has been R.MAHADEVAN, J., sr dishonoured for want of sufficiency of fund and proceedings under Sec.138 of Negotiable Instruments Act has been initiated and the same is pending for trial.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the matter relates to 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and there is a counter claim.
4. Since the matter relates to 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, the respondents are directed to complete the enquiry in respect of the complaint as well as the counter claim as expeditiously as possible. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
