This writ petition is filed to accept land tax in respect of the properties belonging to the petitioner, situated in Survey No.96/6 of Thaikkad Village.

2. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the second respondent. It is stated therein that there is no land in the name of the petitioner in the said survey number and no land existed in the said survey number.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to establish any right over the property before any competent authority for acceptance of land tax. No costs.
