The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 08.02.2021 passed in Writ Petition No.1203 of 2021 (Gaurav Vs. State of U.P. & 3 others).
Today when the matter is taken up, instruction received from the office of opposite party is placed before the Court, which is taken on record. It is informed by learned counsel for the opposite party that the order passed by the writ Court has already been complied with and a decision has been taken on 17.09.2021, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In this view of the matter, Court is of the opinion that the order passed by the writ court has been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed. However, in case applicant is still aggrieved it is open for the applicant to approach the authority concerned, if so advised.
