Writ petition has been filed to seek no objection certificate (NOC) of Public Works Department for establishment of a retail outlet. An application for it is pending consideration as admitted by the parties.
It has to be considered not only in reference to Rule 144 of Petroleum Rules, 2002 but the circular issued by the Government on 20.09.2019 which is made applicable on all the pending applications by this Court in the case of 'Krishna Kumar Sharma vs. Union of India And 2 Others' Writ-C No. 16630 of 2021 dated 17.09.2021.
In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the case expeditiously and in any case not exceeding a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is disposed of with above directions.
