Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed for seeking a direction to the respondent no. 3 to appoint the petitioner as fair price shop agent of Gram Panchayat Tisah, Development Block & Tehsil Ghiror, District Manipuri within a short and specific period as may be specified by this Hon'ble Court.
Petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment due to death of his father, fair price shop dealer, who died on 19.7.2021.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of the petitioner can be suitably redressed by the respondent no. 3, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ghiror, Mainpuri.
In view of the aforesaid, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before respondent no. 3, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ghiror, Mainpuri along with self- attested copy of this order, which may be verified from the official website of this Court, which shall be considered and decided by the respondent no. 3, the Sub Divisional Officer, Ghiror, Mainpuri on its own merit, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of such representation.
It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the claim of the petitioner, which shall be looked into by the said respondent while deciding the claim of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ petition is finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
