Heard Sri Vimal Chandra Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Arun Prakash, learned counsel, who has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent no.3 by filing his appearance slip and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has come to this court, seeking a direction to the Bank to give statement of account of another person.
The petitioner made a query to the Bank as to whether the amount has been deposited or not, even the cheque was neither issued by the petitioner nor drawn in favour of the petitioner.
Sri Arun Prakash, learned counsel for the respondent bank submits that the petitioner has not even given the bank account number that apart the petitioner has no right to know about the account of another person, who is not in any manner connected with the petitioner.
If that be the case, no relief can be granted in favour of the petitioner. The writ petition is misconceived and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
