JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ
By this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate protection to his life and property from the atrocities on the part of the 4th respondent and also for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to enforce Ext.P1 order of status quo. Petitioner claims to have filed a suit in the civil court being O.S.No.916/2012 in which an order of status quo has been passed. Petitioner alleges violation of status quo order by the 4th respondent.
2. From the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that the petitioner can seek his remedy by filing an appropriate application before the civil court where the suit is pending. The writ petition for police protection, in the above circumstances, cannot be entertained and the same is dismissed.
