Order: (per the Hon’ble the Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) In terms of our earlier order dated 9.6.2014, the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, submitted a report.
The report has been submitted based on fact finding and it appears that the allegations of human trafficking by any mafia is absolutely a myth. Hence, there is no necessity to keep this matter pending. However, we direct the Government to take effective measures as far as possible to rehabilitate the begging people. However, if some other people have come from outside, all measures should be taken to see that those people are sent back to their origin.
The Public Interest Litigation is accordingly closed.
The miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
No costs.
