This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside the proceeding in R.C.No.703/2014 CSDT, dated 10-11-2014, issued by respondent No.2, whereby he has suspended the petitioner’s authorization in respect of fair price shop No.12 of Kondagudem Village of Santhakaviti Mandal, Srikakulam District, pending enquiry.
On 10-12-2014, this Court has expressed its prima facie view that the charges, based on which respondent No.2 has suspended the petitioner’s authorization, are not only frivolous but also incredulous.
Today, at the hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (AP) representing the respondents have submitted that respondent No.2 has since restored the petitioner’s authorization.
In view of this subsequent event, the Writ Petition is closed with the direction to respondent No.2 to drop all further action based on the charges framed against the petitioner vide show cause notice, dated 10-11-2014.
As a sequel to closure of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.47622 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
