1. The present petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for an appropriate writ, order and/or direction, to quash and set aside the order dated 31/07/2009 passed by respondent No.1 in Externment Case No.39 of 2009 and confirmed by the Appellate Authority.
2. Today when the present petition is taken up for final hearing, Mr.Saiyed, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated at the bar that by efflux of time, the present petition has become infructuous.
3. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Rule is discharged. Ad-interim relief, if any, stands vacated forthwith.
