Supplementary-affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Heard Sri Kant, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Vinod Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for respondent No.2 as well as Sri Ved Byas Mishra, learned counsel appearing for respondents No.3,4 and 5.
The petitioner has raised a grievance that although he is entitled for senior Professor stage six, his claim is not being considered. The petitioner submits that he was appointed as professor on 23.1.1998 in Sampoornanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi and continued as such and according to the rules after completion of ten years and considering the Academic Performance Indicators, he is now eligible for being considered for senior professor stage six for which he has already filed an application before the Vice Chancellor who is said to be the competent authority where his claim is still pending.
Since the matter is pending before the Vice Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor may look into the matter and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, if possible before his retirement.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
