Facts and controversy being similar this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed today in writ petition no. 18231 of 2000. It is, however, clarified that any monetary benefits extended to petitioner on account of working on the higher post under the interim protection will not be withdrawn on account of dismissal of the writ petition. Such higher payment, however, will not be taken into consideration for the purposes of determination of retiral benefits.
