Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.529/2014 of the Ambalamedu Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on 23.06.2014 at about 2.20 p.m. he was found in possession of 1 kg and 35 gms of ganja.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
5. The learned Public Prosecutor has pointed out that he is also involved in ten other crimes. It has also been reported that he was ordered to be detained under 'KAPPA'.
B.A.No.7522 of 2014 -: 2 :-
The learned Public Prosecutor has further pointed out that the petitioner has been arrested from Chennai. The prosecution records reveal the complicity of the petitioner.
6. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the criminal antecedents on his part, this Court is of the view that he is not entitled to be enlarged on bail at present.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
