Learned counsel for the applicants submits that at this stage, he is not pressing this bail application on merit and purpose of filing this application would be served, if a direction be issued to the trial court to conclude the trial within some time framed.
Learned counsel for the applicants submits that 11 witnesses have already been examined and they have not deposed anything against the applicants.
State Counsel has no objection to this proposition.
The application is disposed of directing the trial court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months. If the trial is not concluded within three months from the next date of recording the evidence, the applicants would be at liberty to revive their applications.
It is made clear that this Court has observed nothing on merit and the trial court would be at liberty to decide the trial strictly in accordance with law.
The applicants are obliged to produce a certified copy of this order before the trial court.
The Registry is also directed to send a copy of this order to the trial court and also the concerned District Judge.
