Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
This petition seeks to invoke the jurisdiction of the Court to try the opposite parties for having committed contempt or an order dated 22 June 2017. In the said P.I.L. the applicant had raised the issue that the respondents 5 to 9 in that petition had been illegally appointed. The applicant states that he is a member of the committee of management and that the respondents 5 to 9 are working in the same institution.
This petition however is not supported by any resolution of the committee of management authorizing the applicant to institute these proceedings. Learned counsel is also unable to state whether the committee of management of which he claims to be a constituent is still recognized by the educational authorities. The Court additionally observes that steps can be taken by the committee itself in case it be their case that the appointments are illegal.
On an overall conspectus of the aforesaid facts, this Court finds no ground to initiate proceedings in contempt at the behest of the applicant.
The petition is dismissed.
