JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioners.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that the defacto complainant namely Selliammal is none other than the sister of the first petitioner herein and she executed a settlement deed in favour of the 1st petitioner vide Doc.No.1814/2014, SRO, Achirapakkam. However, she lodged a frivolous R.MAHADEVAN,J.
jv/bri complaint with the respondent alleging that the petitioners played fraud upon her and made her to execute the said settlement deed. Pursuant to the said complaint, the petitioners have been harassed by the respondent police. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there was no harassment caused by the respondent police as alleged by the petitioners. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the dispute is relating to a family property and the appearance of the petitioners is required for completion of enquiry.
4. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. In order to give quietus to the issue, this Court directs the petitioners to cooperate with the respondent police for completion of enquiry. Accordingly, the present criminal original petition is disposed of.
