This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the order passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram in Crl.M.P.No.3472 of 2017 dated 02.06.2017.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram, by order dated 02.06.2017 in Crl.M.P.No.3472 of 2017, while releasing the petitioner on bail, imposed one of the conditions to the effect that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakhs) as cash security. The petitioner is not having any source to deposit such amount since the condition imposed is onerous, he could not come out on bail. Therefore the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking for the above relief.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram in Crl.M.P.No.3472 of 2017 dated 02.06.2017 directing the petitioner to deposit cash security of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakhs) is modified to the effect that instead of depositing cash security of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakhs), the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) as cash security. The other conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram stands unaltered. The petition is ordered accordingly.
