This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the Respondents to grant compensation of Rs.10 lakhs for the eye injury caused to the petitioner, namely, T.Gajendran Minor aged about 8 years on 17.12.2012 at Government Middle School, Seelanayakkanpatti Village, Periyur Taluk, Madurai District by the Respondents 7 & 8.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he, besides circulating a letter to the Registry dated 18.09.2017, has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
