2. Petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.2/2016 on the file of DVAC Head Quarters, Chennai.

3. According to the petitioner, First Information Report was lodged on 01.04.2016 and the matter is pending without filing final report. He further states that he had been suspended from the employment based on FIR lodged against him and he is the only bread winner of the family.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submits that they are in the final stage of filing final report and sanction from the appropriate authorities is awaited.
5. Taking note of the above submission made on the side of the petitioner counsel and learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this court is of the view that it will be sufficient to grant the respondent 3 months time to file the final report. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2016, and file final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
