Petitioner claims that persons, who were appointed with him on the same date and on the same post, have been allowed higher scale of pay while petitioner's salary has been fixed Rs.3,000/- below the other persons. The salary bill for the month of July, 2017 is being annexed as Annexure-4 to the writ petition. In respect of such grievance, petitioner has approached the authorities concerned, but no decision has yet been taken. Hence, this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim and in case petitioner and respondent no.4 have been appointed on same date, the authority concerned shall ensure that no discriminatory treatment is meted out to petitioner, and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
