Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
The sole relief pressed for by learned counsel for the petitioner that Appeal No. 631 of 2016 dated 5 July 2016 is pending against the cancellation of Arm License by the District Magistrate vide order dated 23 June 2016 and the same may be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel informed that the same shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the Appeal strictly in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
