Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceedings against the opposite parties for willful disobedience of the order dated 22.2.2012 passed in Crl. Revision No. 169 of 2012 (Devendra Nath Sharma And Others Vs. State of U.P. And Anr.).
The Court has proceeded to examine the record in question and finds no reason or occasion calling upon any proceeding against the opposite parties under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
Once the Court has declined to interfere, learned counsel for the applicant states that he does not want to press the present contempt application and the same may be dismissed as not pressed.
The contempt application is accordingly rejected as not pressed.
