Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner states that he filed a private complaint before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bantumilli, Krishna District, who, by his order dated 18.7.2014, referred the said complaint to the respondent No.2 for investigation and report. The petitioner alleges that after registration of the said complaint as Cr.No. 84 of 2014, the respondent No.2 was not taking any further steps with regard to the investigation and filing a final report. Hence the writ petition.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that the investigation in the aforesaid case was completed and a final report was already filed in the concerned Court on 5.12.2014 vide CF No. 4415 of 2014, after serving the petitioner on 30.11.2014.
In view of filing of the final report, the cause in the writ petition does not survive any further. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
