Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Education for the respondents.
2. The writ petition was filed apprehending that G.V.R. Government Junior College, Cheepurupalli, which was established in the land donated by the petitioner was being changed to Government Junior College, Cheepurupalli.
3. A counter-affidavit was filed on behalf of respondents 1 and 3 stating that the respondents are continuing the name of the college as G.V.R. Government Junior College, Cheepurupalli, and they have not issued any orders for changing the name of the junior college.
4. In that view of the matter, no further orders are required in the writ petition and the same is accordingly closed by recording the statement made by the respondents in their counter-affidavit. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No costs.
