This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus in connection with the missing of petitioner’s wife. It is alleged that in spite of missing information being lodged with the police, no action has been taken.
According to us, it is not a case of police detention. At the most, it is a case of inaction of the police. Therefore, we close the writ petition reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, if so advised, for tracing the missing lady. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed. No costs.
